The concurrent events of Intersec Shanghai take the theme of "Comprehensive Applications Powering Connected Safety". It aims to showcase the cutting-edge digital solutions and latest trends for the integrated safety industry.

Through the diversifying summits, award presentation ceremony, conferences and forums, we are here to build a professional industry exchange platform for the international comprehensive cross-sector safety industry.

Date: 7 May 2026 (Thursday)

Time: 10:00 - 12:30

Location: Hall 6.1 Seminar Area

Accelerated by digital transformation, the boundaries of safety are rapidly expanding and driving the emergence of China’s trillion‑RMB comprehensive safety market. The safety industry is evolving through deeper strategic planning and stronger cross‑sector collaboration. International recognition for China’s safety technologies continues to grow, with the escalating competitiveness of Chinese solutions in both technology and value.

As the signature feature of Intersec Shanghai, the summit focuses on Global Safety Scenarios and Leading Technologies. It removes industry and geographical boundaries to create a core platform for global dialogue, knowledge sharing, and ecosystem development within the international security community.

Highlights:

  • Provide insights into key safety policies shaping global and China’s industry landscape
  • Connect domestic and overseas resources to foster cross‑sector collaboration in public, industrial and urban safety
  • Present cutting‑edge technologies and benchmarking case studies linking innovation, solutions, and implementation
  • Facilitate international cooperation and partnership building among government bodies, enterprises and global stakeholders
  • Introduce new ecosystem alliances to strengthen Intersec Shanghai’s position as the leading security event in Asia

Time: 13:30 - 15:30

Location: Hall 6.1 Seminar Area

Under China’s 15th Five‑Year Plan, aerospace information has been designated a strategic emerging industry, with satellite internet identified as part of new national infrastructure. Major national events such as the China Association for Science and Technology Annual Conference and the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Conference have established dedicated aerospace information forums.

Shanghai is actively developing into a globally influential “Satellite Internet City”. Satellite communications and remote sensing technologies are being rapidly integrated into national safety and emergency management, moving from technical validation to the brink of large‑scale application. Growing demand in emergency communications, urban safety, and environmental monitoring is driving the aerospace information industry towards a trillion‑RMB market.

Intersec Shanghai 2026 collaborates with partners to host the Space-Ground Integrated Safety Application Innovation Forum. Focusing on remote sensing and communication satellite technologies, the forum will explore applications in four areas: emergency response, urban safety monitoring, environmental sensing, and critical infrastructure protection. It will bring together experts from satellite manufacturing, ground systems, and application services to share insights and advance collaboration across the aerospace information sector.

Time: 7 May 2026

a&s Top Digital Products & Solutions Award aims to recognize outstanding achievements in safety products and enterprises, providing reliable brand references for engineering contractors/integrators and end-users.

Date: 8 May 2026 (Friday)

Time: 10:00 - 16:30

Location: Hall 6.1 Seminar Area

As one of the prime events of Intersec Shanghai, the International Conference on Safety Technology Scenario Innovation and Application focuses on four key areas — workplace safety, building safety, energy security, and cybersecurity. The event integrates three essential elements: policy insights, technological frontiers, and best‑practice case studies, to create a cross‑sector industry exchange platform. It aims to connect the entire safety value chain from technology and solutions to practical implementation, supporting the development of an comprehensive safety monitoring and early‑warning system.

Highlights:

  • Interpret core policies and compliance requirements for safety monitoring and early warning systems across key industries in 2026

  • Showcase the integration and innovation of AI, 5G, IoT, and big data technologies across diversified security scenarios

  • Present benchmark case studies from sectors such as petrochemical, power and energy, building, and smart manufacturing

  • Facilitate collaboration among government, industry, scholars, and users to address cross‑sector safety challenges

Date: 9 May 2026 (Saturday)

Time: 10:00 - 12:00

Location: Hall 6.1 Seminar Area

As a key driver of new‑quality productive forces, the low‑altitude economy is emerging as a major engine of high‑quality growth, with its strategic value and market potential rapidly expanding. Entering 2026, the industry is transitioning from the “framework building stage” to a new phase of large‑scale project implementation.

At this pivotal moment, safety remains the foremost prerequisite for development. The National Development and Reform Commission has repeatedly emphasised the principle of “no safety, no low‑altitude operations”. This focus places upstream sectors, such as low‑altitude communications, precision navigation, and counter‑UAS systems, at the forefront of both policy and market opportunities due to their high technological barriers and critical demand.

The industry follows the “Three Firsts” approach: cargo before passenger operations, segregation before integration, and suburbs before urban areas. This framework ensures safe, scalable, and commercial deployment while guiding infrastructure synchronisation.

In 2026, Intersec Shanghai gathers industry partners to host the Low-Altitude Safety Development Trends and Application Forum, exploring safety challenges and innovations across low-altitude safety, public safety, operational safety, and cybersecurity. The event will unite leading enterprises to share best practices and technological insights, advancing collaboration across the low‑altitude safety ecosystem.
